classes

As plans come together for our first annual Miss Lizzy’s Crop, we are excited to finally announce our classes offered at this year’s events!  We are joined by three talented artists who have put together some fun classes for our event attendees.

Do you have a friend who wants to start scrapbooking?  Jennifer Hottinger-Sloan is offering a class called Scrapbook 101, for new and novice scrapbookers.  This 2.5 hr class is the opportunity for anyone who has wanted to begin documenting their lives but doesn’t know where to start.  It’s also perfect for a novice scrapbooker who would like to learn more about the design process and about the tools and products available.

Brae Montgomery brings you a fun class in which you will compile a unique Bucket List by creating a series of 15 cards, each with different summer goal of your choosing. Cards will also feature different techniques: basic and rock-and-roll stamping, wet and dry embossing and watercolouring. Once you have checked off your bucket list items, you can use them on pages, documenting your adventures!

Join Leanne Cyr and create a gorgeous, handmade gift to give to someone special. You’ll create a special-fold, pocketed card and three gift tags plus two note cards with envelopes to tuck inside, all beautifully stamped and embellished. The perfect gift for any occasion!

All classes are reasonably priced and the teachers have graciously donated their class fees towards our fundraising goal.  Each class attendee are required to bring a basic toolkit (see individual classes for more info) and will receive a class kit, with supplies required to complete the class project, as well as a detailed handout.
